Hidden Figures Movie Screening & Discussion

This month, we proudly celebrate and honor Black History Month—a time dedicated to the invaluable contributions and achievements of Black individuals throughout history, celebrating Blackness, and for non-Black folks to educate themselves about Black experiences.

Please join us on Tuesday, February 13 to watch Hidden Figures, the true story about three female Black mathematicians, Katherine Goble Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan, and Mary Jackson, who worked at NASA and helped win the Space Race. After the movie, we’ll discuss intersectionality, science, misogynoir, and resistance. Refreshments will be served. RSVP below so we can plan accordingly.

Date/Time: Tuesday, February 13 | 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Location: Curry Student Center 333
